Pilgrimage of Remembrance

Grace and Louise Ziegler Visit the Grave of Fred Ziegler
Louis Ziegler visited the grave of her son Private Fred Ziegler in the Meuse-Argonne Cemetery in 1932. Her daughter Grace accompanied her on the pilgrimage. Although the government provided funds only for the mothers to make the trip, it assisted in making arrangements for family members such as Grace Ziegler who paid their own way to France.
