Busloads of Gold Star Mothers Arrive at the Cemetery
The Army hired comfortable buses to take the pilgrims from Paris into the countryside to visit the cemeteries. The Army divided the full parties of mothers in Paris by cemetery. Buses transported the mothers to their cemetery, with plenty of time for visiting battlefields and other Great War sights of interest.
